eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for
harvest!" - Jn. 4:35
Here at Sons of
Thunder, we are consumed by the heart of God for harvest in the
nations. Thousands upon thousands of souls are ready and waiting to
hear the gospel and enter the Kingdom, and our office receives
countless invitations from pastors in Africa, India and around the
world asking for our assistance in reaching their cities and
nations. “The harvest truly is
plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Mt. 9:37-38).
Considering the urgency of the hour, we have recently
launched our "Sponsor a Crusade" program, offering an opportunity
for churches, organizations and individual Christian business
leaders to underwrite an entire evangelistic crusade in the
nations. Groups who commit to sponsoring a crusade will
cover all aspects of fund-raising and will assist us with
organizing the event. Individuals, leaders or pastors of your
sponsoring group may also wish to join us for the crusade you fund,
and will also have opportunities to preach at pastors'
conferences and local churches on the mission trip. You will
also work to provide prayer covering for the event, and Sons of
Thunder will assist you in producing video footage of the crusade
which you can show your congregation or supporters in sharing your
vision for reaching souls in the nations. We know that there is
tremendous favor on reaching souls, as well as ministering to the
poor, the fatherless and the widows. Much of the acceleration with
which God has blessed our ministry has come from our focus on
reaching souls and ministering to the poor. This, after all, was the
reason that God blessed Job’s life with such favor (Job 29). If it
has been your desire to bring in multitudes to Christ with the
financial assets the Lord has entrusted to you, please consider
sponsoring an evangelistic crusade! We believe God will bring favor
to your efforts and enable you to meet this goal as you join with us
in responding to the "Go" of the gospel!
Entire crusades can be sponsored for as
little as $10,000, bringing in thousands of new believers to the
Kingdom. Larger ones can range up to $80,000 in capital cities of
India and Africa, where literally tens of thousands of
souls receive the saving knowledge of
Jesus Christ. Obviously, no one can put a value on even
one single soul, but it does take financial resources to reach the
lost. "How then shall they
call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they
believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear
without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?"
(Rom. 10:14-15). As believers, we all share
the responsibility of reaching the lost. One can go to
preach, but others are called to be financial “senders,” with both
reaping equally in the spiritual rewards of the harvest.
